Thanks to magustenebrarum, choirsoftheeye, and living_jukebox, who were each kind enough to let me play on their newly-acquired systems, I have discovered that the Wii is something of a danger to my wrists.

Oh, and fun. Not to be forgetting the fun.

Bowling, anyone? :)

For the sake of my wallet and judicious use of my free time, I've been ignoring info on the new consoles. At best I figure after the next big sales rush (post-holidays, probably) I'll start keeping an eye out for cheap playstation *two*s... that said, I can't help wondering if anyone will code up a curling game for that nifty wii controller. :)

That would be pretty cool, yah. And from the looks of the other sports games they've got, a curling game should certainly be possible.
