They extracted another wisdom tooth today.

And they didn't even let me keep it! Feh.

On the other hand, it seems to have gone well. Which is really all one can ask for.

A couple of years or so ago, I had a tooth with a sizable gold crown pulled after a failed root canal, and the bastards had the nerve to try to throw that away! Groggy with local anesthetics and nitrous oxide, I repeatedly insisted that I wanted that crown, damn it, and eventually they gave in and let me keep it.

Well, I only have one left, but the consensus opinion is that it should be left alone unless there's a serious problem. (It's lying down, right up against the nerve, and probably blocked by a shelf of bone. Challenging!)

How quickly did the bleeding stop? When I did it, it was on a Friday. I bled until Sunday.
