Avionics 08 has (somewhat unreliable) wireless.
I'm posting this from the trade show venue, the Passenger Terminal Amsterdam. (I guess this is where the cruise ships dock in other, warmer seasons.)
Just a quick hello.

Re: *hugs*
I took different ferry companies in each direction Helsinki->Tallinn and Tallinn->Helsinki. (I wanted to try different companies to see how the services differed. This was a great thing on the Stockholm-Helsinki run, as the Finnish Silja Line ferry has *hot tubs*. Mmmm, hot tubs.
Anyway, the little ferry I took over from Helsinki was small, but fast, and docked right at a pier somewhere away from the main terminal. On the way back to Finland I took some big ferry and boarded at the terminal. The terminal itself looked like a piece of Finland someone had dropped into the port area in Tallinn.
So, getting back to the original comparison: I think the Tallinn Ferry Port is more of a place where big passenger ferries dock; lots of throughput, lots of Scandinavian efficiency. As I said, it looks like someone had simply moved in a piece of Finland.
The Passenger Terminal Amsterdam is more of a cruise ship terminal. I haven't actually been in the one in Manhattan, but I'm imagining it's more like that. It's big, carpeted, and designed for people who can afford to take cruises.
*many hugs* :)

Wonder who ya call when ya want a terminal installed. Or an upgrade.
