One problem for the Republicans this cycle is that they have not managed to raise money from small contributions on the Internet the way the Democrats have.

To put it another way, the Democrat who has been most successful with internet fundraising is Barack Obama. He's the nominee. The Republican who has had the greatest success raising money over the net is Ron Paul. The Republican Party considers him a pariah.
