T-Mobile's number porting?

Thus far, full of fail.

Ordered last week, still not done.

I told Mom it wouldn't work when I ordered it, but did she believe me? Noooo....

When you have problems with T-mobile, I find the most effective thing to do is to go to a corporate-owned T-mobile store, such as the one on Newbury Street or the one in Harvard Square, and ask for help. Whenever I phoned customer service, they were pretty incompetent about solving my problems, but when I showed up at the store, if the people there didn't know how to help me directly, they had the direct dial numbers for technicians who could, and did.

The people at the Newbury Street store were always particularly helpful.

Thanks, yeah. There are a couple of corporate-owned T-Mobile stores nearby, one of which I'll visit tomorrow or Friday.

I originally planned on getting the phone from one of them, but they didn't have the phone I wanted, so I got it over the website.
