Can this campaign be over already? The longer it gets, the nastier it gets.

Agreed - I'm also hearing some nasty stories (http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2008/10/20/murdered-bear-cub-dumped_n_136347.html) of late.

I'm hoping that the election will be decisive one way or the other. By 'decisive', though, I think the best we can hope for is that the winner gets 300+ electoral college votes.

Yeah, seriously. I can do without all the conspiracy theorists whining afterwards about how the election was stolen.

I did my part and voted already, yesterday. Can we get a "skunk" rule for elections, please? It's all over except the crying.

Just in case, I plan to watch the election from a safe distance, in Amsterdam.

Is that far enough? I'm thinking Rio or Buenos Aires.
