if this is about Meg McClain, there's piles of evidence that she lied. The whole experience was about 10 minutes, there were no police officers, she wasn't handcuffed (and indeed, in response to her comment that she was crying while handcuffed, she was in fact free, seated, and a TSA employee comes over with paper towels for her to use, and is very obviously sympathetic and seems gentle/soothing).
I'm no fan of the TSA and the security measures. But she was spoiling for a fight and if it wasn't happening naturally she seems to have made it up out of whole cloth, perhaps thinking they wouldn't just release the CCTV video.
It's about a woman named or pseudonymed 'Celeste', and I don't think it's a rewrite of Ms. McClain's story. This is the one I thought of when I read this post, and since you often have information I don't I thought I'd mention it.
Will and I just enjoyed a new children's picture book Olivia Goes to Venice. We're both a bit old for picture books, but still love them and this was really well done. Anyway my favorite part is a picture of Olivia the kid pig being wanded by airport security. It read "Olivia was searched for weapons. She was very pleased."
