I don't think anyone thinks lifting hundreds of millions of Chinese out of poverty is a bad thing. At least, I don't.
The problem is that if the bubble bursts in the wrong way, there will be social effects beyond some people losing a few trillion dollars.
Fortunately for them, the Chinese government seems very mindful of this.
