Sometimes, the problem is really with what you're saying, not how you're saying it.

It's harder to see this when you can't imagine what's wrong with what you're saying.

One of my favorite lines about a forum I used to participate in regularly was (roughly—the phrasing was better in the original, I think) "it has a number of minor interface problems that obscure the serious problems with the interface." :-)

I recommend talking more loudly and slowly. If that doesn't work, use smaller words.
