One of my favorite lines about a forum I used to participate in regularly was (roughly—the phrasing was better in the original, I think) "it has a number of minor interface problems that obscure the serious problems with the interface." :-)

I recommend talking more loudly and slowly. If that doesn't work, use smaller words.
