The European railway system is *so* cool.

I just pulled an all-nighter doing trip planning. I feel satisfied because now I have a pretty exact (train-by-train) idea of how I'm getting to the places I'm going. It's a lot of kilometers between Frankfurt, Riga, and Florence.

One of these days perhaps, I'll write up a post on how I do this kind of trip planning.

What I'd really like is if Deutsche Bahn could deliver my tickets to me in time (they'll mail them, but it's too late for them to reach me now), or even better have them held for me at Frankfurt for me to pick up when I arrive. Oh well. At least the DB site has great tools to work with.

Of course, I'm still *sick*, so I'll probably be paying for this all-nighter down the line. Silly me.
