Khaosan Road...
Aug. 6th, 2003 03:06 pm...is an amazing example of the effects of mass backpacker tourism. The whole street is a tourist alley, but of the dreadlocks and batik brigade.
Bizarre occurrence was turning on the radio and hearing a cover of "One Night in Bangkok" being played on FM 90 here.
