Rock, Paper, Payoff: Child's Play Wins Auction House an Art Sale

I'm wondering if Flora and Alice are actually right. Are there patterns people--particularly the Questie brawlers on my friends list--have noticed?
Or is it all just luck?
I'm vaguely annoyed at the lack of picture for most of the moods I choose.
