I friend people I know in real life. Except for very rare exceptions, if I've friended you, you've met me face-to-face. If you've friended me, and I haven't friended you back, it's extremely likely it's because I can't identify you as someone I've met. I'm always up for meeting new people, though, so that's easy to fix. Also, if you have met me and I haven't clued in, just tell me.
