Though, to be fair, my TomTom did have a bit of a meltdown in downtown Boston by the old town hall. It clearly knew where I wanted to be, could see it, but was stymied by the plethora of tiny, one-way streets. Eventually, after having me "turn right now" about six times, it randomly gave up and told me I had reached my destination (which I hadn't). :)
But, again, my maps are probably eight or more years old.
