What if, after you voted, you automatically opted out of all election advertising for that election?

Wouldn't that be nice? No phone calls, no banner ads, no TV spots, no radio ads, nothing. It's a nice fantasy.

Why yes, I did hand in my absentee ballot last week.

All voting in Oregon is by mail in ballot. Once you mail in your ballot, all calls, mailings and in person campaigning stop at your home. It's lovely (though does nothing about radio is tv ads)
