(no subject)

A spirited midday drive up the Northeast corridor really does get the juices flowing.

Especially if you're being chased by wolves.

Been there, done that. :)

It has its moments, I'll give it that.

Entirely seriously, I think a few wolves might be of great use right about now. There were a few too many deer close to high speed traffic on that last trip. I think looking into face of the one standing on the broken white line next to my car as I sped past at slightly over highway speed may have been the most unsettling. It was at eye level and in the darkness it flashed past almost before I registered that there was a deer within a foot or two of my car.

So, um, yeah.

Eep. Hopefully not including oil, coolant, or blood?

[identity profile] r-ness.livejournal.com 2009-11-12 09:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Nope, at least not mine.

Actually, I only saw a couple of collisions and none of them appeared to have spilled much fluid of any kind. A little loose debris, but not much else.

Especially the Merritt Parkway. Haven't done that in far too long.

Just not the same without that bridge, though.

Just like dentistry hasn't been the same since they invented local anaesthetic?

[identity profile] digitalemur.livejournal.com 2009-11-11 04:49 pm (UTC)(link)
All I know is that bridge has been replaced and I don't grind my teeth so much in my sleep, so yes.

I liked that bridge, too, but I think we were in the minority.
