I took a break from LJ and FB the last couple of weeks.

There was a wave of angst coming off my friends feeds, and I realized I needed to stop reading because it was making me sad.

So I stopped. I probably missed many important events. I regret that, but I also recovered quickly after I stopped.

I don't know how often I'll be reading LJ. I'm taking it easy with it, though I intend to keep posting. I still haven't returned to FB, and don't know when I'll be back.

Yeah, my FB friends list is very short and generally rather placid. But then I'm not back there yet, either.

I got this amazing hug from this wonderful friend which made my evening so much better. Actually, I got more than one hug and from more than one wonderful friend. So I should give credit where it is due. But you were one of them.

Probably doesn't help that you have real life people sending ALL THE FEELS at you, but you know, life happens. (Still, I'll try not to ALL THE FEELS at you all the time, and I'm really sorry to both you and bedfull_o_books for my utter telephony fail last night, that must have been mightily annoying.
