It snowed in eastern Cairo yesterday.

Someone decided they'd make appropriate snow sculptures.



The rest of Cairo got cold rain and wintry mix, not as photogenic. Winter storm Alexa dumped snow on much of the rest of the eastern end of the Mediterranean. Parts of Jerusalem got over twenty inches.

This is fantastic. Reminds me of the year it snowed in Hilton Head and we built snowmen. They had melted by noon but it was still fun!
