Signal boost for a request from a friend.

The subject of made-to-order bras has come up among my friends a couple of times over the last few years. I promised to let people know if I heard anything. So here's something:

thespian has posted asking if any of you have tried Zyrra's bras. She says:
they're today's side deal in Boston on Groupon - $50 for a custom $95 bra (and I have $150 in credit yet). It might be really nice to have a *really* well fitted bra, but it looks like they're a newish company, and the reviews I've found are of the company and the business model, but not of the bras.

It does interest me that they are essentially combining bespoke tailoring and mass production methods in a way that has caught the attention of a few business journalists. I'm curious.

Also be nice to have a really well fitted bra. But I would like to find a person or two who have worn them (even an online review, I just couldn't seem to find one).
Groupon's side deal link is at http://www.groupon.com/deals/zyrra, and is only good for today, Tuesday, 12 January 2010.

Note: I have no connection with either Zyrra or Groupon. I do definitely have an interest in my friends being less cranky.

But do you have an interest in your friends' bras?

Some, although nowadays it's more about scratching under their straps for them because they're itchy.

I'm obviously getting old.

It's not a hopeless case until you're more interested in bird feeders than in your friends' bras.

I, for one, am a hopeless case as of, oh, some time last week.

You were remarkably interested in bird feeders, it's true.
