Why, it's as if they trained it on a random selection of images from their own search database without considering that there might be some pervasive bias present that would affect any sample.

I was just wondering... Suppose the recognition algorithm learns based on the text that is near images on web pages. wouldn't that mean that it would learn invective slang along with other nouns?

The article is good enough, but it seems to soft-pedal the fact that when you're selling an expensive, high-tech product, it's going to become optimized for the tastes of high-income customers.
