Dare I ask how much the airtime costs? I thought oooh, that's cheap, and then someone pointed out to me that that's prolly before airtime.

I know someone who refers to them as Yodaphones.

All incoming calls were free, as promised.
Domestic outgoing calls were R.2.80/min (40 cents US).
I never made any international calls, and I can't remember what they told me they'd cost. Something outrageous, I'm sure.

I sent a *lot* of text messages. They were R.2 apiece, or about 29 cents.

All in all, it made a great SMS device, and when my car broke down in the middle of nowhere it really saved my butt to be able to call for help.
