Decisions, decisions. (Boston, food, under $5)

Trying to decide where I should eat lunch: Mexican (a burrito and horchata from Taqueria la Mexicana, 247 Washington St., Union Square, Somerville) or Vietnamese (banh mi and soymilk from New Saigon Sandwich, 696 Washington St., Chinatown, Boston).

I'll ponder this while I do E's dishes and see if anyone responds with suggestions and ideas.

I would have gone with you to either, but I've already eaten. :(

Oh, are you in town? I thought you'd left already.

Nope, leaving tomorrow.

On the basis of how well each does what they do, I'd say that TLM does it a lot better than NSS.

Plus it's closer.

Tacos Lupita is good too, yeah. What I really want from TLM is a lengua burrito, though; does Tacos Lupita do lengua? Can't remember.

TL is even closer, too. This is getting increasingly important as I get hungrier. :)

They had lengua, and you were right, TLMs are better. Still not bad for $4.50.

Mexican.

Thanks for all the suggestions and comments! Off to Tacos Lupita. :)
