Hugh Masekela, 'Still Grazing'

I heard an interview with him on NPR some weeks ago. Then I saw the book he had ghost-written and decided to borrow it.

Two immediate thoughts: I wish I'd been able to read the book before I'd gone to South Africa, because he talks about places I've now actually seen, like the townships of Orlando and Alexandra around Johannesburg.

That, and my! did he do a lot of drugs back in the day.

I'll have to look it up. I always liked the song (Grazing in the Grass) and wished I could have found music for it for our band.
