it's not at all like malta goya. Some people have described it as "liquid Sugar Smacks". After 10 years of not being able to find the stuff, koshmom presented me with a case of it that she got at Reliable Market. I'm not sure that it's still the same formula. But that could also just be my tastes changing. I find most soft drinks (colas, especially) simply undrinkable these days.
