Maultaschen!

Last week, Matthias, the lead sysadmin, made maultaschen. They were store-bought, but he cut them into thin strips and added ham, onions, cheese, and sunflower seeds when he pan-fried them.

Yummy pasta pockets! Very filling.

I'll miss maultaschen when I leave.

Yum

That sounds good. If you ever do find them locally, lemme know...

Maultaschen!

Gesundheit!

What's really funny about that is that Germans are surprised and somewhat bemused that Americans actually say "Gesundheit!" when people sneeze.

Please, please just don't tell me the Germans say "Bless you!" in English.

If it helps, you can tell them some of us say "Por favor" and "c'est la vie" and other such strange things. Of course that could just be me and my weird friends...

Yeah, "Bless you!" with a German accent would be ... disturbing at best.
