Soba with sesame sauce?
I have a craving for it. Where can I find it?
I mean, I'm sure I could make it, but I'm looking for ideas.
The craving hit last night, as I mentioned to
maedbh7 last night. But it wasn't possible to find the ingredients to make it, or a place that sold it, not at the time.

Do you have a recipe for the sauce? I should just make some myself, really.

A version I make:
saute one onion fine chopped with some garlic
add 1 can thai red curry sauce(did I mention my version was spicy?)
stir, add 2 cans coconut milk
add one jar sesame paste(10-14oz, don't be fussy, recipe meant to not leave small amounts in jars in fridge)
use a stick blender to mix into sauce.
Add 1T fish sauce, 2-4 T rice vinager
2 cups of peanut butter(commercial skippy-type best, the processing blends it finer, makes it harder to break)
a few T sugar, to taste.
Add chili garlic paste if you want it hotter.
Use stick blender to make smooth, bring to just bubbling, turn off, let cool, freezes beautifully.

Thanks for the recipe!

Now I'm thinking I must have a thing for odd fish delicacies.
(You won't want to take Frank there, but there's a restaurant in Copenhagen which does an all-herring all-you-can eat buffet at lunch.
*I* thought it was yummy. :) )

I liked most of their stuff but it was quite heavily salted.
