...and saw no one I knew.

It *is* Tuesday, right?

Oh well, guess it's been so long I don't know anyone who goes. :)

Well, you know, some of us work 'day-time' jobs & don't have lots of luxury about heading to Diesel at any old hour of the day. :-P

Hey, I work a day job! (but in/near Davis)

(Do you normally go? I don't think I've ever seen you there.)

Actually, I've only rarely attended Tuesday night at Diesel this past year, but even when I do, it's usually from the 9-9:30pm range, not 4-6pm range.

:-P

I went to the Diesel, but not today. It was mildly horrific, the way a leisure/consumption space is transformed utterly into a workspace. I hate laptops in cafes!

I'm guessing you have the same reaction that I do (horrified revulsion) to the Sprint ads I saw everywhere on my way home for Christmas: "Say 'yes' to turning just about anyplace into a workplace!" Good God, people..!

More like, "Fuck no!" Ugh.

Yeah, I specifically avoid bringing mine.

Say, I keep forgetting you're here now. Lunch sometime?

I've been undergoing a certain renaisance in my Diesel patronage. I've decided that their hot cocoa is yummy, and they have a couple sandwiches that don't suck.

Still though, you won't find me there during work hours. (hopefully)

Same as others said: timing. (I'm not there often, but I was there today from about 5:45 to 6:45.)

We got there about 545 and stayed until 7 and it was VERY crowded.

*hugs*

Besides, seeing you three days in a row (not at a con) would have been a record for us.

Yes, but hugging you three days in a row would be a nice record to have set. :)

I was by there around 2:30 with my houseguest, [livejournal.com profile] pann_da_bear, but his flight was at 6 so we headed for the airport at 3. It was more a 'you should see the cafe, shame you can't stay later' bit rather than 'damn, no one is here,' though.

Sorry, was ill. Or at least really tired. Went home and slept for 3 hours. Maybe next week.
