I'm this guy, lives near you, occasionally known to visit you guys at random late-night hours, likes the palm trees you put up. You ran into me entering a New Year's Eve party while you and your SO exited it.

(More likely, if this were a real ID request I'd just email you at your address, but this seemed like more fun.)

Oh, I didn't mean that as an ID request at all... I'm perfectly capable of matching your LJ self to your real name and face, and I *always* enjoy hanging out with you! It's just that I've always been interested in how people answer the question "Who are you?".

You've given me the easy answer which would be "You like the palm trees in my yard," but that would be obvious to everyone. If it had to be more secret than that.... hmmm... I'm not sure how I would do that.

That's true, about the palm trees. I think if I needed to be obscure I think I'd have made the NYE reference, but with explicit reference to the gender of the person I was with, because that would narrow it down to one person immediately.

I'm still thinking of the answer to your other game, though, because that's a much more meaningful game.

If it's the "Who are you?" game miss_chance wanted to play, but which I misinterpreted, my immediate (and flip) answer would be something like, "Oh, r_ness is just this guy, you know?"

I'll have to think harder about a better answer.
