On a scale of 0-10, where 0 is "I strongly oppose" and 10 is "I strongly favor", please rate the following ideas:

I have some feedback on the general poll itself. I think rather than doing a 1-10 scale, you should have 3 options: disagree, no opinion, and agree. That's how I filled out the poll, using "5" as no particular opinion and "10" as strongly agree... Don't know if I was totally off track on that. I blame the scotch. Regardless: midly confusing. Now bring the damned food posts back: I love reading about it, even though I'm across the planet atm. You describe the experience beautifully, and I enjoy those entries considerably.

Seconded. I think a "yay!" "boo!" and "eh..." is quite sufficient.

I second the second part too :)

You've overwhelmed me with options. My brain has shut down.

Put it behind an lj-cut, please? It's ungodly wide and totally messing up the readability of the rest of my flist.

Sorry! It didn't look unduly wide on my browser/OS combination. Figures that LJ would play funny games with layout.

I'll fix it.

For some reason LJ wouldn't process my poll results. So I'll just say it: I love and am entertained by your food writing. You evidently enjoy writing it. I enjoy reading it. I think you would enjoy doing a food blog, or becoming an established writer on a food blog (lots of blogs are now projects done by multiple writers.)

Also, I am going to be in the New Haven area around Easter. Are you still in that area?

I'm actually up in Boston more than I'm in New Haven, but I'd come to meet you. Let me know when you'll be in the neighborhood! It'll be great to see you again.

I enjoy your food entries very much, and would like to see them stay in this blog where it's convenient! :) However, if you'd prefer to separate your topics out or are looking for a more interest-focused audience, I'd almost certainly sign up for a new food blog of yours as long as it was either here on LJ or accessible via some sort of feed -- I think I may already be at my limit for number of blogs that have to be chased down at assorted random sites.
