(no subject)

I found myself scraping ice-encrusted snow off my car just now. The landscape around me is a winter wonderland.

I thought that by coming to DC I might avoid this. And yet, my friends in Boston tell me there isn't a bit of the stuff on the ground back home.

The irony of this does not escape me.

That is funny..

I probably should'nt talk about how I've somehow managed to get sunburnt, then. First sunny weekend in close to two months, it was.

Hi!

Sorry I've been out of touch! I've been reading (intermittently) along about you and Kathryn but as I do not have a nearly 5 month old I feel I entirely lack useful things to say.

It's good to hear from you!

I'm only intermittently keeping up with LJ. I read almost everything, but don't often take time to reply.

I'm sorry you got snowed on in DC. :)

S'all good. I'm just whining. And I even got photos.

There's nothing on the ground, but I swear I saw a couple of snowflakes earlier this morning... unless that was someone burning paper.

Doesn't it always, though? :)

We got flurries

[identity profile] karakara98.livejournal.com 2007-01-22 05:50 pm (UTC)(link)
What's even weirder is that Tucson, where my dad lives, has gotten as much snow this year as New Haven. Screwy weather!

[identity profile] bedfull-o-books.livejournal.com 2007-01-22 08:51 pm (UTC)(link)
There were a few flurries this morning.

And E & J are at the hospital awaiting the impending birth, so it is bound to snow like a bastard sometime soon. Like when they are all due to come home....

[identity profile] drucifer25.livejournal.com 2007-01-23 12:00 am (UTC)(link)
Is it sad that I didn't notice it was snowing outside until I read it on Livejournal?

[identity profile] holmes-iv.livejournal.com 2007-01-23 12:18 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. But it's even sadder that I didn't notice until I saw your comment on LiveJournal about not realizing it was snowing until you saw it on LiveJournal. :-(

[identity profile] midsummernd.livejournal.com 2007-01-23 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
omg, people! windows! the cold shiny things in your apartments with the billowy fabric on top!

[identity profile] drucifer25.livejournal.com 2007-01-23 03:34 am (UTC)(link)
I'm on the ground floor! If I opened my windows, people would keep knocking on them because it's too cold for them to get their keys out of their pockets when they have mittens on!

I've tested this.
