One personal side benefit of the latest Facebook scare (public information is public!) is that I have discovered two other accounts with my name which are not me.

I'm not on facebook, and I'm wondering how to check that without downloading it myself. It might be amusing to see if anyone's attempting to impersonate me.

I'm not sure how seeing your name in the directory means anyone is impersonating you. There are 80+ people on FB under various versions of my name that I have used at various points in my life, and I seriously doubt any of them are trying to "impersonate" me. Are you that positive your name is unique on the planet? Really?

Well, I'm not saying she can find out if someone's impersonating her. I'm just giving her the URL so she can find other people with her name.

She'll have to look at the account itself to answer any other questions.
