It's that time of year again!

A while ago, at a crafts night, candle_light asked me if I were going to be restarting the Ice Cream tour I'd proposed the last couple of years. (See http://r-ness.livejournal.com/197171.html and http://r-ness.livejournal.com/144331.html.)

I'm glad she reminded me. It's time for ice cream. (Isn't it always?)

Oh lord how I miss Emack & Bolio's and Toscanini's. Oh for a taste of Fresh Ginger, or Cocoa Pudding, or Vienna Finger Cookie or Gingersnap Molasses. Alas, I fear it would not ship well to San Francisco.

they used to di it with dry ice all the time,but i think Homeland Security might have kiboshed it(I worked there 15 years ago)

Yeahm, cause you know, ice cream is such a dangerous substance to ship cross country. Think of the terror that would rain down on Iowa should a loose pint of Burnt caramel get out there....

alas, i miss the shipping of bottles of alcohol too- it was spoiled by some people packing them badly, whereupon they'd break and make a mess... cant say i blame them really.
