I suspect it says a lot about me that I identify with the climber on belay. (Well, sure, it beats identifying with the folks in cubeland. But still.)
So, who wants to join me on an adventure? :)

Date: 2007-08-27 06:12 am (UTC)I believe that means I have to enter Brazil again by 31/10/07, although it may mean I have to leave Brazil by then; can't be sure.
In any case, I was just thinking over dinner--at Gauchão, where the clientele, and the TV, provide the feel of being in Brazil already--how I'd like to go back to Brazil sometime soon. Also, recent posts by a friend in Buenos Aires make me really want to do the whole Rio to Santiago overland trip, via Buenos Aires. I've kind of been idly planning it, but there hasn't been either time or money for it.
Maybe I should post my planned trips? I have a whole bunch, from the Balkans to South Asia to Central America to the Middle East. I dunno. Gotta think about that, because so many of them are kind of in the indefinite future. It feels sometimes like I need to have things nailed down before I really want to talk about them.
In any case, I wasn't specifically thinking about travel, really, though travel is always something I'm willing to discuss. As you can see. :)
In a way it's not so much the travel itself that's the adventure. Meeting people and interacting with them, certainly is, and that I do just about everywhere.
But I'm thinking a lot. (and I'm very chatty late at night. :) )
