People claim this craving is linked to gender. Specifically not my gender.

Whatever.

Chocolate! Now!

No worries. I've laid in a stock in my fridge for occasions like this. :)

Either they're wrong, or you can do whichever gender suits you. Or both.

So last Christmas we got my daughter some Pocky, and it was the husband's opportunity to grab the time to dash into the Asian market to get it. And this is one of the things he came out with.

She and I went nuts with it on Christmas Day. "WHy is the DARK chocolate the MEN's pocky? Is it cause it's Dark and BItter? Oooh, such MANLY pocky, I want to just... ok, not in front of you."

Amusingly enough, neither of the males in our family wanted anything to do with it. She and I ate it ALL OURSELVES muaahahahhahaa

Men's Pocky.

I don't know if it's necessarily a gender thing, but whatever it is, I don't really have it. I don't dislike chocolate, but given the choice of almost anything more creative on a dessert menu, that's probably what I'm going for.

On the other hand, I'm known to keep a quart of Breyers Vanilla in the office freezer for emergencies, so I understand the craving aspect. :)

meh, i just think women are more vocal about it!

here's something to do in a quick fix: box of dark chocolate cake mix, 1 can pumpkin, 1/2 bag dark chocolate chips (i use ghiradelli 60%), and 1/2 cup water. mix, bake and chocolate goodness awaits!

I don't crave chocolate. Most of the time I have an aversion to chocolate. :-)
