I suppose now that we've moved out of our apartment and have some time before escrow closes, I can unearth my paperwork and do my taxes. Yay for extension filing (and for CPA fathers who take care of that for you when moving is too stressful to do it yourself)!
The last time the Dub-Shrub gave me a golden shower, I invested it locally. I was living in the Seattle area at the time, and $300 was pretty much the cost of a brand new XBox... so Microsoft and I both got stimulated. I still do each time I play it. That is what the vibrate feature on the controllers is for, right? &;)
I'd like to do something similar this time around (and find it amusingly appropriate to buy a Wii with this golden shower), but that will Depends depend on the availability of Nintendo's latest electronic crack box and our new monthly budget + mortgage.
Like the rest of my income, it'll probably get split up into checking, savings, long-term-savings, and charity.
Thanks for asking - I think I'll do the same on my LiveJournal and see what responses it elicits!
Oh yeah... taxes... I knew I needed to take care of something...
