cmeckhardt and I were talking Friday night about the Institute For Figuring's Hyperbolic Crochet Coral Reef and how one of the exhibit locations in New York, the one at the Broadway Windows at NYU, was going away on Sunday (today).

"Wanna go?" she said.
"Sure."

So we went.

Sounds very cool. The more or less related thing I saw once in San Francisco was the end result of an art project in which art students made two eight-foot long knitting needles and used them on "yarn" made up of old clothes tied together. It may still be on display behind the Four Seasons near Mission.
