I often find, when talking with people, that it's helpful to make an effort to understand their point of view. Some points of view are easier and some are harder.

But it's nice to have someone else make an effort to understand your point of view. It's annoying when it's clear they won't try, and frustrating when it seems they can't.

I quite agree with you, but I've noticed that most people don't seem to be willing/able to see another person's point of view, particularly on political issues.
