yeah, it is pretty disturbing. When Frank was born our marriage wouldn't have been legal in a good part of the country. It does give me hope that maybe our children will feel this way about same sex marriage though!

I just did a little more reading..Massachusetts had legalized interracial marriage in 1843.

Only Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York, New Jersey, Vermont, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Alaska, Hawaii, and the federal District of Columbia never enacted anti-miscegenation laws.
