I just Facebooked the Financial Times, in response to a post about a credit market Q&A they're having tomorrow morning.

This makes me feel very weird, in a way I'm having trouble describing.

What does it mean to use "Facebook" as a verb in that sentence?

In that sentence, it meant "clicked on the link 'become a fan of the Financial Times' and thereby join their Facebook group, which then makes it possible to participate in their online events, like the credit market Q&A".

Oh, is *that* what "become a fan of" does!

I didn't realize it actually made you able to do things. I thought it was just, you know, declaring your fondness.

I do not find facebook intuitive.

I *think* that's what it does. I am not sure it was necessary or sufficient, but I am led to believe it is.

I do not find facebook intuitive.

Neither do I. :(
