What I most regret is that her family burned most of the letters she sent them after she died! They apparently chose the most humourous and cutting to do away with.
To be fair, I think I write better because of the internet.

Also, allow me to clarify, the first sentence of the second paragraph should have been "after she died, her family burned most of the letters she wrote to them." I didn't mean to imply that she wrote letters to them after she died. Though I'm sure her take on the afterlife would have been hilarious!
