Sense and Sensibility was on last night. I know that I gripe (constantly) about the Jordanians and their lack of interest in anything remotely intellectual, but I can't remember the last time a movie like that could be shown on regular network television in the US AND get high ratings. With subtitles, no less (although the thought of Austen dubbed in Arabic is rather intriguing).
Watching certain films here is aggravating. Even the Incredibles was cut--like the scene where he gets released and hugs Mirage. They cut that. Yep.
