[livejournal.com profile] cmeckhardt successfully found one, but only one, at Kotobukiya. We're looking for more of them.

The lid says, "If it always has folca an important thing will not forget":

They are apparently easy to find in Hyaku-en shops and Kyuujuu-kyuu-en shops (100 yen shops and 99 yen shops). Unfortunately we don't live very close to one.

It's a plastic case with many snap-cover dividers, suitable for keeping small objects.

That sounds like a good reason to go out to Seattle and Vancouver to dig around in such shops there! (I had way, waaaaay too much fun in the Daiso in Seattle.) Or contact friends there and get them to dig around and find more.

Are you wanting such a thing as a pill sorting container?

I was just looking at Daiso's site! (http://www.daiso-sangyo.co.jp/english/) They also have branches in the Bay Area.

I have a weekly pill sorter, and found that (so far) it's not all that useful for me.

Ooooooh.

Come to think of it, I very nearly bought a container much like that, at Daiso in June.

Now I need a Daiso fix. Are there stores of that sort in NYC somewhere, that I could visit the next time I go to the city for the weekend?

There's a branch of the not-dissimilar Muji in Manhattan.

I was about to say "and what about that store in Porter Exchange?" because I had forgotten the name, and hadn't clicked on your Kotobukiya link. Hah.

I've found similar boxes at the container store, and I love them.

Hahahahahahahaha.

Hahahaha.

God, Japanese shit has the funniest stuff on it sometimes.

I'll ask my mom to pick some up the next time she's going through Japan, although that might not be for a while. How urgently do you want these?

It's not at all urgent. In fact, it could probably wait until I'm next in Japan.

Rats. I wish I'd seen this yesterday, as I was in the Japanese Trade Center twice on Sunday.
