Yeah, I could have babysat my husband when he was a child, as I am 7 years older. :-} Fortunately, we didn't meet until he was 24 and I was 31.

I don't actually recall when I met rysmiel, as it was one of those "friends in common, in same place, gradually get to know each other thing," but I would guess was somewhere in my 30s, and they were in their late 20s. (If it mattered, I could ask their spouse, who introduced us and has a much better memory for this sort of thing.)
