Well, they're still there, still doing Game Fest all February. We'll go again if schedules work, but I wanted to make sure I got there right at the beginning because they run out of menu items towards the end of the month.

We just drove home. I have at least two meals of food leftover from my Hunter's Platter. Good, heavy, German food, if you haven't been there already. If you're not a carnivore, don't bother, but if you are, well, this is your chance to eat all kinds of meat you usually have to go to Savenor's to order. (I'm looking at you, [livejournal.com profile] trowa_barton.)

Oh, and the beer's German, and good, too.

(Thanks to [livejournal.com profile] infinitehotel for the original pointer, so many years ago I can't actually remember.)

There's an entire class of dark, heavy Bavarian beers with names ending in "-ator", after the brewer of Paulaner Salvator finally got trademark protection. Maximator, Triumphator, Celebrator, and probably the best of all for that joke: Kulminator.
