But what did you do when you did fill the tank in a vehicle? I mean, if you ever did fill the tank on a regular basis.

Well, I don't actually drive, either, so I'm a totally useless data point.

My husband, however, routinely drove the car to empty, and I do mean empty, which drove me batshit. :)

That's fair. :) There are actually a number of people on my flist who aren't licensed drivers.
