The irony is that a bright full moon tends to make other stargazing not as good.

Yeah, it doesn't make it easier, but it was obviously Saturn with it's rings. Saturn should be up in my area for at least another month or so. We are hoping for a clear night on the night of the New moon in a couple weeks.
