I do enjoy the irony...

...that the people who I discuss in my random posts generally aren't reading me, and those who are reading me are sure I'm not talking about them.

The converse is also true: if you're worried it's about you--like the button idea I posted last month--it's almost certainly not about you.

Of course, I was just reminded of an exception to my previous post...

...but it was so rare that I was quite astonished. Then again, novawolf is exceptionally gifted, so I can't see that feat being repeated often.

In fact, I had actually written "Miss you," followed by her name. At the last moment, I thought it'd be better not to name names, and I edited it out.

All I can say is that it got much more difficult to do this in the States long, long ago. At least for me. Hitchhikers in America were an endangered species decades back.

I wouldn't drive on this stuff, but it's not like it really puts me out, either. I do feel like I've lost some sensation from the periphery of my body. Also, there's some dissociation going on, I think. (Definitely wouldn't drive on it. :) )

It does seem to work in relieving the throbbing from the implant. (The pain from the implant has been a bit more persistent than most of the other dental work I've had lately.) I mean, I can't feel it at all, although some of that seems to be the 800mg of ibuprofen I'm being prescribed at the same time.

Overall, this is good, because the throbbing was keeping me from sleeping.
