(without running upstairs and grabbing the book) near the end the girl companion is clawed by a lion. she finds out later it was Aslan who did clawed her, as (for want of a better term) karma for the maid she drugged (who was then whipped). she inquires if anything else happened to the maid, and Aslan answers to the effect of "We only know our own stories, not another's."
