I don't see why the scandal needs a new name... "Weiner's weiner" captured it completely.

I do wonder why it's so scandalous that Weiner continued sexting after he resigned from Congress (just like your sixteen-year-old).

Scandalous isn't the world I'd use. But when you continue the exact behavior that got you fired from a career to which you have every intention of returning, that's a serious lack of judgment.

I'd agree with your statement that it's "like your sixteen-year-old"* but that seems unfair to most sixteen-year-olds, who have more sense than that.

*As far as I know, I don't have a sixteen-year-old. I'm in touch with most of the people who might be able to challenge that statement.

He basically told the press a few weeks ago that more stuff would come out, have fun fishing for it. And that's just kind of ridiculous. Is he... does he get how funny he is?

does he get how funny he is?

That might take more self-awareness than he's shown.

Tsk! Some studies have reported sexting incidence as high as 20% but others have it as low as 1%. So maybe Weiner is less normal than I give him credit for.

Also, I disagree. The guy was stuck with that name; it wasn't his fault.

He chose "Carlos Danger".

Can't wait to see what Jon Stewart does with this material.

Jon Stewart is on vacation, so John Oliver is going to take it on, tonight. At the opening of last night's show, Oliver said that it was one of those weeks where Monday night they heard about the royal baby right as they started taping, and then last night they heard about Weiner's penis just as they started taping, so they say they're going to cover Weiner's penis tonight which is more than he ever did for it.

In other words, it's gonna be awesome.

Via sylphon-- Weird Al Yankovic tweeted the following: "So stoked -- Just found out a friend scored a Carlos Danger action figure from Comic-Con!"

Hah! Weird Al is great.

That action figure probably wouldn't be safe for work.
